Pre-Save ‘Peace Be Still’

An Uplifting New Single

There are moments in life when the waves seem to rise higher than our strength, and the winds of circumstance feel impossible to weather. We have all experienced those seasons where the internal and external storms threaten to overwhelm us, leaving us searching for a firm place to stand.

I am thrilled to announce my upcoming single, “Peace Be Still,” releasing on all streaming platforms on July 11, 2026.

Inspired by Faith

This original song is deeply personal and is inspired by the profound account in Matthew 8: 23-27, where Jesus calms the storm.

In that passage, the disciples were terrified as their boat was being swamped by the waves. Yet, amidst the chaos, Jesus was sleeping, not out of indifference, but out of a perfect, unshakable trust in the Father. When He woke and commanded the wind and the sea to be still, it wasn’t just a miracle of nature; it was a revelation of His authority over everything that disturbs our hearts.

“Peace Be Still” is my musical reflection on that moment. It’s a reminder that even when the storms of life are raging, we serve a Savior who is greater than the tempest.

Why This Song Matters

In a world that feels increasingly noisy and unsettled, I wanted to create a piece of music that serves as an anchor. Whether you are walking through a difficult trial, navigating a season of uncertainty, or simply looking for a quiet moment to recalibrate your spirit, I hope this song helps you find that “peace that surpasses understanding.”

From the studio to your ears, this track is an invitation to breathe, to trust, and to remember who is in control.

Overcoming Fear with Faith and Prayer

The Spirit of Power

Scripture

For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

Reflection

Fear creeps in like an unwanted guest, snatching away your joy, messing up your sleep, and holding you back from being your best self. The Bible keeps it simple. If you’re feeling trapped by fear, this not from God. So if you’re feeling a bit anxious or shy, this is the verse to help you overcome it. You have three great tools from God to tackle your fear. Embracing the spirit of power, love, and self-control (keeping a sound mind).

Power gives you the ability to act. Love gives you motivation to serve others, Self Control (Sound Mind) gives you the ability to think clearly under pressure. So next time fear shows up at your heart’s door, use you sound mind that God gifted you, remember His promises, and see how fear slowly loses its grip on you.

Fear can be a tough emotion to deal with; it can really hold you back. On the flip side, faith gives you that boost of confidence and makes you trust in some One bigger than you i.e. God. Fear can really stop you in your track and make you question what you can do, but faith helps you to keep going with hope and confidence when things get tough.

Embracing faith allows you to replace your anxieties with a positive outlook, paving the way for growth and resilience. Ultimately, the transformative power of faith will help you conquer the fear that is impeding your progress.

When fear creeps in, turning to prayer is the antidote. Connect with God, and tell Him what you are so afraid of. Praying helps you let go of your worries, bringing in a sense of calm. Faith helps you tackle the tough spots that fear throws your way. Prayer loosens the grip that fear has on your life.

Thought Provoking Questions

What part of your life do you notice fear showing up a lot and messing with your thoughts and choices every day?

It may be really helpful to take some time to think about your day-to-day decisions.

How do you think they will change if you approach them from a place of empowerment, kindness, and clarity?

What small steps can you start taking right now to shake off the grip of fear and make space for a mindset that’s strong, loving, and makes sense?

Think about the little things you can do that match these good vibes instead of letting your worries stop you from growing.

Think of prayer as a way to deal with fear.

Prayer

Father, whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed by fear, let me apply faith as the antidote for fear. Whenever fear gets hold of me, let me be reminded that prayer is the key to overcome it. Help me to remember that perfect love drives out all fear. Thank you for giving me the spirit of boldness to overcome timidity.

Thank you that you there to support and guide me through it all. Help me tap into my inner strength and have the courage to stick with my faith. Even during the rough patches, I’m not alone no matter how lonely it may feel.

I claim the promise in Matthew 28:20, You will be with me forever until the end of time.

I claim the promise of Isaiah 41:10, do not be afraid because because You are my God.

I claim the promise of Psalm 23:4, even though I walk through the valley fo the shadow od death, I will fear no evil, because You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
