Boldness at the door
Scripture
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
Reflection
A lion doesn’t need to roar or show off to prove it’s the king of the jungle. It just carries itself with this calm confidence that shows who it really is. The quiet confidence of a lion is really what makes it such an impressive and respected animal.
It moves with a kind of grace and control that doesn’t need to show off or freak anyone out. Its strength isn’t in how loud it roars but in the powerful presence it brings just by being itself. The lion really shows you that true confidence can often say so much more than a big roar.
So, since you are now righteous, justified by grace through faith in Christ, you can totally be bold about it. Just keep in mind, this isn’t about being mean or stepping on other people. It’s more about having a calm kind of strength that speaks up for what’s right and real.
Being brave like this helps you to be that person who stands up and says something nice when others are gossiping, or who isn’t afraid to pray for a friend, knowing that the King of Kings has got your back.
It helps you tackle any situation with confidence, not just because of what you do, but because of who you belong to.
Meditation
Imagine a stunning lion, looking so powerful yet calm, stretched out under the warm sunshine. It knows just how strong it is but also gives off a vibe of peace and serenity.
Close your eyes for a second and take a slow, deep breath. Now, really see that lion in your head. Let that feeling of security from the lion wrap around you, reminding you to have faith because God’s always there, protecting you and giving you the courage you need when things get tough.
Picture this awesome lion, a true symbol of the amazing strength you’ve got inside you. Believe in yourself and remember, you’ve got the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, in your corner, cheering you on as you face whatever comes your way.
Take a second to soak in this calm vibe, feeling that amazing sense of confidence that comes when you realize how strong you really are and how the Lord is with you always, until the end of the world.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, give us boldness. confidence, power, love, and sound mind to share the Gospel story with our cummniity. Whenever fear gets hold of us, let us be reminded that You who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. We claim the promise that You have given us the spirit of power, love, and sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7. Help us be as bold as a lion when sharing our faith with non Christians. Guide us as we explore our inner strength and gain the courage to maintain our faith. We claim the promises of Matthew 28:20, Isaiah 41:10, and Psalm 23:4. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dr. Koh has an eye opening way to bring you closer to Bible and following Christ. For many years because of person experience in my life I wasn’t sure if Christ loved me, cared about me, or if he was even real. Then I found this book on a different blog and decided to read it. It says 33 days but honestly it’s kinda hard to stop reading the powerful things being said. It really made me think about things differently. Thank you Dr. Koh. (1 out of 96 Amazon Reviews.
