✨ Author Spotlight: A Gift of GraceEach month, I pause to thank the Lord for His amazing grace. Publishing 58 titlesand being recognized in the Malaysian Book of Records have been humbling milestones, but the greatest joy is hearing how a book, sermon, or devotional helped someone draw closer to God.Thank you for being part of this journey. Your prayers and support mean more than you know.📖 Devotional Moment: “In the Waiting”Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” — Psalm 27:14Waiting is one of the hardest disciplines in the Christian life. Yet it is in the waiting that God shapes us most deeply. He strengthens our faith, enlarges our hope, and replaces our anxious striving with steadfast trust. If you are in a season of delay, may this verse anchor your heart today:
God is never late. His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good.🌟 Story Time: The Lantern on the Hillside(A short fictional story to inspire your week)Miriam lived in a quiet village nestled between rolling hills and winding streams. Every evening, she lit a small oil lantern and placed it on her windowsill. It was a simple tradition her late father had taught her: “Let your light shine where God has placed you.”One stormy night, as thunder roared and rain lashed against the rooftops, the entire village fell into darkness. People stumbled through their homes searching for candles and matches. But out on the hillside, amid the wind and rain, Miriam’s little lantern flickered faithfully.Down in the valley, a traveler named Elias was fighting his way through the storm. He had lost his map, his direction, and almost his courage. With soaked clothes and trembling hands, he whispered, “Lord, help me find my way.”Just then, through the curtain of rain, he saw a faint golden glow. A single light, small, but steady. He followed it up the hill and arrived at Miriam’s doorstep, exhausted and grateful. She welcomed him inside, warmed him with soup, and offered shelter until morning. As dawn broke, the storm cleared, and Elias prepared to continue his journey. Before leaving, he said,“Last night, your lantern saved my life. Why did you leave it burning during such a storm?”Miriam smiled softly.“My father once told me that even the smallest light can guide someone out of the deepest darkness. So I keep it shining, just in case someone needs it.”Elias walked away with a renewed heart, whispering a prayer of gratitude.
And from that day on, Miriam’s lantern became a symbol of hope for travelers far and near.Moral:
Your light may seem small, but God can use it to lead someone home.🤝 Let’s Stay ConnectedThank you for reading this month’s edition of Pens and Pages.
