Ink of Inspiration

Touching lives through books

Many years ago, I felt a calling that transcended the boundaries of ordinary existence- a Bible teaching ministry through books. Little did I know that this calling would lead me on a remarkable journey, where I would author 34 Christian books and touch the lives of thousands of readers. As I reflected on this incredible journey, I am humbled and grateful for the privilege of impacting so many lives through books.

Purpose and Calling

From the very first book I penned, I knew there was something special about this journey. Writing Christian books was a sacred calling that spoke directly to my soul. Every word I penned was guided by the Holy Spirit. It was this profound sense of purpose that kept me steadfast in my ministry.

Reader magnets

As I delved into the world of publishing, I discovered the concept of reader magnet as a gift of faith to readers. These reader magnets attracted readers from all over the world, creating a beautiful connection of shared faith and devotion.

Digital Revolution

Embracing the digital age, I took my ministry to online platforms and digital stores. This shift expanded my reach beyond boundaries, borders, and time zones, connecting me to readers of diverse backgrounds from across the globe.

Impacting lives

Every heartfelt testimonial I received carried the essence of lives transformed, spirits lifted, and faith rekindled. Stories of personal growth and spiritual awakening touched my heart beyond words.

Short Story: Kitty, the cat who stole my heart

A Tale of Love and Friendship

I found a tiny little kitten in a quiet part of the neighborhood. She was a few days old, and her mother had abandoned her. She was alone, and the world around her seemed big and unfamiliar. My heart couldn’t bear to leave the helpless brown kitten all alone, and with a rush of compassion, I decided to take her under my care. I called her Kitty. From that moment on, a bond formed between us, and she quickly became a cherished member of my family.

As the days passed, she grew stronger, and her affectionate nature flourished. Every time I returned home from work, she would eagerly wait by the door, purring with excitement, as if to say, “I missed you!”

Her warm, brown, furry presence brought joy and comfort to my life. We would spend evenings cuddling together, her purrs creating a soothing melody that melted away the stresses of the day. She filled my home with love, turning it into a sanctuary of happiness and companionship.

One particular day, as I drove home from work, my heart leaped with anticipation to see her waiting in the driveway. She always made my homecoming so special, and I couldn’t wait to embrace her.
However, fate had a cruel twist in store for both of us. As I parked my car, she darted towards me, her eyes bright with joy. But before I could react, tragedy struck. My car accidentally rolled over her, leaving me in shock and filled with sorrow.

.
In that heart-wrenching moment, time seemed to stand still. I cradled her gently, tears streaming down my face as I realized the unthinkable had happened. I had lost my beloved cat, the one who had brought so much happiness into my life.

In the days that followed, the pain of her loss weighed heavily on my heart. Memories of her playful antics, her soft purrs, and her unwavering affection flooded my mind. The house felt empty without her, and the void she left behind seemed impossible to fill.
But as time passed, I began to find solace in the cherished memories we shared. Her spirit lived on in my heart, a reminder of the beautiful bond we had. Though she was no longer physically by my side, her presence remained in the love and happiness she brought into my life.
As days turned into weeks, months, and years, the sadness began to ease. Although my cat is no longer with me physically, she will always hold a special place in my heart as a cherished memory that will never fade away.

Rest in peace, Kitty. You will always be remembered and cherished.

Confession of a cardiologist: poem

Dr. Andrew C S Koh

In the rhythm of a pounding beat,

I navigate the chambers of hearts beneath.

Witness to the symphony within the chest,

I pen the tales of hearts at their best.

Confession of a cardiologist, unveiled,

From throbbing pain to love prevailed.

A dance of arteries, in vibrant hues,

A mix of anguish and life anew.

Each beat, a journey, a story to tell,

Of arteries clogged, of the body’s rebel.

The whispers of murmurs, a delicate guide,

In the depths of chambers, where secrets reside.

From the tiniest vessels to the largest vein,

I witness the triumphs, the losses, and the pain.

With each patient’s journey, a lesson learned,

To heal, to guide, the passion confirmed.

In the memoirs I scribe, lives intertwined,

A symphony of hearts, a portrait defined.

Confession of a cardiologist, etched in time,

A lifelong devotion to the heart’s rhyme.

A Doc’s life: poem

Dr. Andrew C S Koh

The steady hands heal,

Forty years of medicine’s zeal,

Through triumphs and sorrows,

Witnessing life’s tomorrows.

Midnight calls, emergencies arise,

Silent battles fought behind wise eyes,

Broken hearts and bodies mend,

A doctor’s service has no end.

Lines etched on a weathered face,

A lifetime of caring, in each embrace,

Brightening lives, relieving pain,

A doctor’s legacy shall forever remain.

With compassion, wisdom, and skill,

Patient after patient, healing will,

Forty years of selfless devotion,

A doctor’s soul in eternal motion.

The way, the truth, and the life: poem

The way, the truth, the life,

In You I find my strength, my guide.

You lead me on paths of righteousness,

Through valleys dark, you bring me light.

You are the way, when I am lost,

You lift me up, no matter the cost.

In your footsteps, I choose to tread,

In your presence, I am safely led.

You are the truth, when lies surround,

Your words of wisdom, they confound.

In a world of falsehood, you bring clarity,

In Your teachings, I find purity.

You are the life, in You, I have hope,

You give me joy, when I cannot cope.

In Your presence, I find peace within.

Walking by faith: poem

Poem

In darkness I once dwelled, lost and alone,

But Grace shone upon me, my heart turned to stone.

The Cross of Calvary, where my Savior bled,

It was there on that hill, my old life was shed.

I took up my cross, and chose to follow Him,

To deny myself, and let go of my sin.

Through valleys of trials, and mountains so high,

By faith I press on, with hope in my eye.

The Spirit indwelling, guiding my way,

Strengthening my weakness, empowering each day.

In prayer and in Scripture, His Word is my light,

Revealing His truth, and guiding me right.

In fellowship with brethren, we gather and pray,

Encouraging one another, as we walk this narrow way.

Through seasons of sorrow and seasons of joy,

In Christ, I find purpose, in Him I find buoy.

With grace as my anchor, and love as my guide,

I walk this Christian journey, with Christ by my side.

In His presence I find strength, in His peace I abide,

Walking by faith, till I see Him in glory reside.

Pandemic: poem

Poem

Silent streets and empty skies,

A world brought down to its demise,

A virus spread from land to land,

Holding all of us in its tight command.

Shops closed down, people in despair,

The pandemic sweeping everywhere,

Doctors and scientists in the fray,

Working tirelessly day by day.

Families torn apart, loved ones lost,

The pandemic came with a massive cost,

We kept our distance, stayed away,

Hoping and praying for a brighter day.

Yet through the darkness, hope did shine,

People came together, fighting the fight,

Soldiers on the front lines took up the chase,

And we emerged stronger in the aftermath of this race.
